Process

After our initial phone call we'll schedule a site visit. If your concerns are regarding landscape maintenance or trees, I'll send a detailed follow up with all of my recommendations. If you're wanting to explore some design options, we usually start with concepts and then progress to plans that have all of the details to bring your dream garden retreat to life!

Concept 1

After doing a detailed site analysis, we'll explore various layouts to reach your goals. This one features a rectilinear layout with raised garden planters and terraces to divide the garden into different rooms. We have a space for a dinner party, outdoor kitchen, and lounging as well as a more intimate sitting area and a fire pit lounge.

Concept 2

This second concept showcases a more organic layout. The raised garden beds and terraced walls divide the space so that the outdoor dining is elevated above an extended lounge space. The fire pit has become incorporated into the lounge while the intimate garden seating area is tucked away in the upper corner.

Preliminary Plan

This is a plan you can build from and this planting page features your shopping list with all plant material labeled, to scale, with appropriate quantities and sizes. This particular design features a more formal planting composition with linear rows creating screening on the edges and more detailed colorful plantings at the forefront.

Plant Photos + Bloom Chart

This page helps you visualize your completed garden, giving you an idea of which blooms to expect throughout the year. We are focused on low maintenance plant material with blooms that extend throughout the growing season.

Hardscape Plan

This plan contains all of the quantities and material specifications to aide in hardscape construction. By quantifying lengths and square footages, this leaves less room for error when you're getting multiple bids. I also include specific construction notes to protect both you and the contractor.
